CENTRAL TIBET WITH EBC
Central Tibet with Everest Base Camp Trip : Enticing capital city, Lhasa, is on the roof of the world. Its awe-inspiring splendor of the great Potala Palace truly justifies its remarkable reputation. Busting with pilgrim’s circling the scared Jokhang Temple is outstanding feast for the senses which cannot be under-estimated.
Additionally, the scenery looks incredible across the spectacular Khamba-la (pass) with the turquoise waters of scared lake, Yamdrok-tso, prayer flags, glaciers and great mountains swathed by the snow.
Gyantse is located at the junction of trade routes from India maintaining its aroma. The Tibetan towns retain its feel and illustrate the history of peace, treasures and evidence of past glory with the fort and well-protected monasteries of Gyantse, Shigatse and Sakya.
Qomolangma (Mt Everest) standing alone at the top of the valley looks magnificent from Rhongphu, the tiny monastery. It comes even closer as we walk or drive to the Base Camp.
